Hotel Club Es Talaial

During my stay (April) was cold weather and heating was not working. Everything other was excellent. Price/quality, food, entertainment, hotel staff, etc.

Fab facilities for children and entertainment team friendly staff location great for small beach taxi ride needed for center Cala for and main beach Food was quite bland plenty for kids though. Bars good never big cues good staff Big let down was our one bed studio app absolutely stank of mould and foist despite three requests to have room deep cleaned. Only attempted once!! Decided to leave early after 4 days as making our asthma worse Shame because overall facilities were fab. Don’t go for ground floor if you choose to go

Second family stay at hotel Club es Talaial and it was thoroughly enjoyed by both kids and adults. The hotel lives up to its 3 star rating fully and exceeds this in areas. The gardens around the hotel are beautiful and meticulously maintained. Housekeeping are visible every day cleaning, replenishing towels and changing bedding. Reception staff are very helpful with any questions or needs which arise and the animation team are brilliant and maintain a fun atmosphere with plenty for all, without being in any way intrusive. Our kids loved the pool games such as diving down to find hidden spoons and the water mat which all ages found great fun. Never had a problem getting a table immediately in the restaurant or at the evening show and never waited any length of time for a drink at the bar - the staff there are very friendly and jovial, makes for a lovely relaxed evening atmosphere. The restaurant staff work very efficiently at clearing plates and food is constantly replenished. Some of the fish dishes from the grill were very good, as was the sushi, but likewise there is always pasta, fruit, salad, potatos, pizza, chips etc. The kids had great fun choosing dessert every night, the jellies were a hit! The evening shows are great fun, so much so that onlookers from other hotels peer over the hedge with their kids on their shoulders to get in on the action - seems Showtime at Club es Talaial is the place to be from 8:30pm - 10:30pm. Bar closes around 11:30 and the resort is very quiet after this so perfect for getting kids to bed without them being awoken by other guests and I'm reliably informed that the mattresses in the bedroom are 'the comfiest ever!' although we sleep on the sofa bed by the balcony - which is not quite as luxurious by absolutely fine for a family holiday. The Thursday evening craft market was a pleasant stroll just across from the hotel and not crowded, some beautiful hand made candles, homeware etc. Local Spar shop has everything you need from baby wipes to alcoholic drinks and sandwiches. Mercadona in driving distance. We enjoyed the Starfish boat tour, an afternoon at Cala Esmeralda and Aqualand in S'Arenal. A wonderful 9 nights and kids are already planning third trip to Club es Talaial!
